Divorce/do I owe for credit cards/order for exclusive possession of home
Same sex marriage/Canada/2yrs. Spouse came into marriage with credit cards in her name only. Has a line of credit against investments she made with money from an accident settlement years ago. We purchased a home together as had to use joint incomes to qualify. Have always split casts 50/50 and we have the same jobs with the same rate of pay. I want a divorce due to spouses control issues. ( At first she said she would pay her credit cards and line of credit and would leave right away if I let her have the car which is paid off, and if I give her the equity we have in the house (I would borrow from relatives in order to do so, and she would take her name off title.) She would keep her savings account (I haven't one) I started paying the utilities and mortgage payments because she said she would leave right away. And I had planned to rent a room so that I could afford to continue paying the mortgage after she left. Now she says she's not leaving, and will not resume paying her share of these costs. I can't afford to pay her share and don't have the money for the next mortgage payment. She also says she won't take her name off mortgage, says that I can't make her pay towards the mortgage and utilities etc. and that I can't make her do anything. She is determined to simply hurt me anyway she can. Do I have to pay half her credit card and line of credit debt when I don't even know what she's put on them, ( I know she took 3 trips to the southern states on her cards in order to visit a dying relative) We've each paid our own way in the relationship since day one, does that make a difference? Can I get an order for exclusive possession so that she doesn't force me to default on the mortgage and because she has stated and followed through on no longer paying her half of it? If so how do I do that? Will it cost much as I don't have any money due to having to pay for everything myself? She's yelling and screaming at me all the time and making financial threats. Please help.

Had to say what she can or can't do, each divorce is often different. On the home, that will be up to the judge who will have to decide if one party is to buy it out from the other, or one just gets it, or even if it hass to be sold and profits divided. So you will have to get an attorney, that is the first and most important thing you have to do
