The pit of depression
I usually don't post my probs on the net but here goes... im a teenager 19 to be exact and I'm sinking deeper and deeper into a pit I can't come out of. Here's the scenario. I have no car and I can't drive... and its not like I'm poor well I am but my family isn't. When I turned 15 I got my learners permit... when I asked my mom to teach me how to drive she laughed at me.. my father is a diabetic has a short temper and yells at me all the time. Ive asked friends to teach me and there is always an excuse... and now the depressing part... I can't leave my house... oh sure my mom will take me to school and pick me up... and she will take me work and pick me up... but that's the only time I go anywhere... my house is my prison, and I'm a social person I have friends but I haven't seen them since graduation 7 months ago because I'm a prisoner in my house... I hardly eat and I've lost 30 pounds already, and I cry on every single day because everything seems so empty and hopeless... I just don't know what to do anymore.. what should I do?:(

Here's "a" suggestion. Save a little bit of money and get a driving lesson from a training school. Some of them will even provide their own car for you to be trained on. Once you get your driver license this way, come back here if you are still depressed.

You have a job so I presume you have a little money so how about catching a bus to see your friends once in while.
Or how about asking your friends that do drive if they will call by and see you or pick you up.
They can't be real good friends if they won't make an effort to see you in 7 months!
Why hasn't any of them been to your house to say hi?

So how about your friends traveling the 20 minutes to see you. That isn't too bad.
Gee I travel 20 minutes through the city to see my friends.
As is said a good friend would go out of their way to come see you if you asked.

As someone suggested, save some money and use private driving lessons.

Pit bulls and mastiffs
[ 6 Answers ]
Are pit bulls and mastiffs the same breed of dog? I was watching a show about dogs on animal planet and the narrator said at one point, "pit bulls or mastiffs..." as if the two words were synonymous. Anyway, just wondering.
If they are the same breed, that's very interesting because as an artist...
Pit Bulls are pests!
[ 101 Answers ]
To me the pit bulls are pests.
I can't walk down an alley without worrying about getting bitten. When I see anything resembling a pit bull on a leash I am forced to take evasive action. In my opinion, they should be bred out of existence.
Why aren't they?
The Money Pit

Hello,

New Pit Bull won't eat
[ 3 Answers ]
Hello I just rescued a beautiful Brindle Pit Bull. He is about 2 yrs old. I brought him home last night, he didn't eat then I thought because he was new to our family. He had been mistreated. Today he fits in like he has been here for years, playing with the kids wagging his tail and having a ball....
Ejector Pit Smells!
[ 3 Answers ]
I have an ejector pit in my basement with a shower, washer, and toilet draining into it. The top is bolted down and the pvc has snug rubber fittings where it passes through the top but the odor is still strong. Is there any thing I can do to control or reduce the odor?
