    Can I move out at 16 in md
    OK... well... my sister said I can move in with her in nc but my parents said no because that envolves sending them a monthly cheak that they can't afford. My sister has a job waiting for me and I can help pay rent. I want to know if when I turn 16 if I can move out legally

    No, Shannon, you can't. You would have to go to court to have custody/guardianship changed. You can't just move out because you want to until you are 18.
