    How do I protect from a judgement
    I'm the losing party on a judgent, how do I protect myself from the judgement, if the creditor isn't interested in getting the money in installments, any advice?

    Did you have a lawyer when you went to court? Once you have lost the judgement you have no bargaining room.

    Take any money out of the bank ( they can freeze your bank accounts)

    Stop using a checking account, pay with money orders or cash ( since if they freeze a bank account any checks written but not cleared will merely bounce)

    Don't have a job, or at least one where you are paid a pay check. ( you would have to work for cash off the books) since *** (depends on the states , some states don't allow garnishment) but if you have a job they can garnish normally up to 25 percent of your check.
