Dyed black to light brown won't go green. Green happens when you go from blonde to brown. Green happens because there's no red left in the hair. If you dyed your hair black (and didn't bleach it blonde beforehand), there's likely a lot of red in the hair.

is there a certain level developer volume that would bleach all the dark color out of it?
No. There is not. Developer put the color there, there's no reason to expect that it would get it out -- and it won't. Hydrogen peroxide (aka developer) will not lighten the artificial pigment deposited from a single-process haircoloring.

There are haircolor removers. In fact, there are two types of haircolor removers. ColorFix, Color Oops, Igora Phantom, and other reducing-type color removers dissolve the artificial pigment in the hair so it can be shampooed out. Color Zap and Effasol are oxidative-type hair bleaches that are formulated to bleach out artificial color. I recommend the reducing type since it's much easier on the hair.

Don't expect color removers to leave your hair its natural color. Don't expect color removers to leave your hair a nice color, either. You do have to re-dye the hair the shade of your choice after using color removers.
