    Furnace blows warm, then cold
    All,

Here is what my furnace is doing. I turn the heat on and watch it turn on. The fusable link (I think that's what it is) glows red and the burners fire up. Hot air then gets pushed. However, out of the blue, the burners shut down but the furnace keeps blowing air (cool).

    Where do I start?

    TIA,

    Brian

Sounds like a limit problem, how is your airfilter? Does you furnace vent with plastic or metal pipe?

Is the limit a part I can buy? New filter as I replace it often. Metal exhaust.

Forgot to mention it's a gas furnace

    Thank you

How long is it running when the flames drop out? And do they come back on themselves or do you have to reset the furnace? Take off the thermostat and put a jumper from r to w and see if it still drops out
