    Biology enzymes and catalyst
    1. Why does no reaction occur with water and liver?

    2. Does potato contain an enzyme that breaks down hydrogen peroxide? Explain.

    3. Maganese dioxide does not come from living things yet it has a reaction. Is maganese dioxide an enzyme or a catalyst? Explain.

    I guess you made experiments with enzymes...

    1. I don't quite understand what you are asking here...

    2. Did the rate of decomposition of hydrogen peroxide increase in the presence of potato? If yes that means that potato does contain an enzyme to speed up the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.

    3. What is the definition of an enzyme? The definition will give you the answer to that question.
