    Slab Foundation and septic access
I just purchased a home in the Naples, Fl. Area, and it was built in 2006. I have noticed my master bathroom tiles are starting to crack directly in line with the main septic line leaving the house. I went outside and looked at the area where the septic line exits the house, and it appears that the concrete footing has been knocked out in order to accommodate the septic line. There is also a hole about 10 inches in diameter that goes under the house below and slightly to the side of the septic line(not sure how far under). My concerns are 1) what are the footing requirements in SW Fl. On a slab foundation, and 2)is it normal to have a septic line exit the house at ground level? Also, would this potentially cause the hole to appear, or the tiles to crack in the bathroom. I am concerned that the slab is starting to crack due to the hole, which could have been caused by the septic line being installed incorrectly, which could be binding the septic line and causing a leak, thus eating away the soil under the foundation.

    Thanks for your help
