Three year olds need space to play and discover. All activities need to be at their level! Lots of sorting, colors, shapes, and numbers! Centers are extremely helpful to imagination, play, and learning. In my class I have the following centers set up:
Dramatic Play-house, kitchen, dolls, dress up, doctor/dentist, puppets
    Blocks- building and manipulative
Writing- Paper and pencils, stencils, dot letters and worksheets and alphabet chart
Math- Sorting toys, shape sorters, counting posters and worksheets, number chart
Science/sensory- depending on our themes/units, I will have different materials for the kids to explore
Reading- a comfy place to relax and look at books! Lots of pictures and colors!
Listening/computers- a felt story board with books on cd, keyboard, mouse, and computer for games
Art- tons of art supplies, and mediums for the kids to express themselves!

    HTH!
