    Curve Equations
    Hey guys I just want to check my homework to your answers ;)

    so yeah I've put the questions on here and the amount of marks please show me what you get as these two questions I have struggled on for the past hour.

    3. A curve has equation y= x^3 – 4x + 7

    a) Find the gradient function of the curve.
    b) Find the coordinates of the points on the curve where the gradient
    is equal to 8.
    (5 marks)

    4. Find the equations of the tangent and normal to the graph of y = x^2 – 6x + 2 at the points on the graph where
    (a) x = 1
    (b) x = 3.
    (11 marks)
