220 plug for dryer and heater
Is it possible to split a 220 wire and run it to a baseboard heater and a clothes dryer off a single breaker. They would not be ran at the same time. It is the only way for me to get a 220 wire to the baseboard heater? They are 40 feet from the breaker box.

Sorry, according to the NEC, the dryer must be on a dedicated circuit.

Possible yes to code and safe absolutely not most likely the breaker would not tip if there were an overload from the heater which will start a fire.
