    National Registry?
I am looking for a phone # or an email address - I believe there is a place that you can register to see if your birth mother or father is looking for you.

There are several places. There's a sticky at the top of the adoption page that has the best way to search, but adoption.com, adoption.org, and ISRR are three great reunion websites.

There is NOT a national registry at this time, only those run independently. Some adoption agencies actually have their OWN reunion pages on their websites--if you know the name of the agency used, you can check with them.
