    Ruud furnace
We have lived in this house for 3 years without any furnace problems... this year we lit the furnace (and it stays lit), but when we turn the thermostat on, we hear it ignite, but then nothing happens... could it be a thermal coupling? Does anyone have any idea... we thought it was the thermostat and replaced it, but it does the same thing... thanks

Ruud has made 2,347 different furnaces over the years could you narrow it down a little like with the use of a model number. My crystal ball is on the fritz again and I cannot see it from here.

No electrical heat-ruud furnace [ 1 Answers ]

I have a 5.5 year old, 4 ton, split, ruudd furnace. Heating is electrical. The heat does not work, the motor runs but it just blows cold air. The cold settings for air conditioning work well. How do I know whether the problem is with the heating elements or something else? Thanks
