    Water closet connection to sanitary lines
    What is the maximum number of water closets that can be connected to a 3" sanitary line

    Hi Agh...

    In my area you cannot connect more than 3 toilets or 3 bathroom groups on a 3" building drain.

    Need any more... let me know.

    An d in my area( Standard Plumbing Code) while you can connect 20 fixture units in a 3" branchhowever, it restricts you to two water closets. Regards, tom

    In my area, it is similar what Tom posted: We can connect 2 toilets to 3" line, max. . If you are connecting 3rd toilet, you have to upgrade to 4".
