GF parents stopping me seeing her while she is pregnant
Can my GF's parents stop me from seeing her while she is pregnant? I am 16 and she is 17, we are prepared and are grown up with the situation and are now planning everything for the baby, basically they have said they won't let me see my girlfriend until she is 18. If the law in the uk is you can leave home without parental concent at 16, then surely they can't stop her seeing me? Especially if she is pregnant? I worry for her and won't know how she is or be able to take care of her when stress out in pregnancy. What can I do? Thank you, I understand you will all think we are too young for a child which I totally agree with but we have faced the facts and are bring totally grown up about the situation.

If she lives under their roof they can stop her from seeing you. It's as simple as that.

The irony of referring to oneself as grown up yet better than half the paragraph was text speak or misspelled... priceless.

But like J_9 said... they can keep you from seeing her. They will not be able to keep you from seeing the child.

So they can physically stop her from walking out the house to see me?

After getting 5A*s 5A's and a B in my GCSE's I do not appreciate being called stupid, the fact that I cannot type very fast wtihout spelling things wrongly is not through my stupidity! So I would advise you not to have assumptions about people through their typing ability, they only lead to misconceptions and leaving the accused feeling even worse than he already does! So thank for the extra help on that 1!

Posting on a forum is not about speed, its about accuracy. R is not a word and is not a typing mistake... it is laziness. I did not call you stupid... I merely pointed out the irony of referring to yourself as a grown up while speaking like a 9 year old.

And to answer your question... they cannot physically stop her from walking out but can have you arrested for aiding her in any way.
