How to respond to a to a summons for law suite in Idaho district court
I have been served a summons for a judgment for payment on work performed by Service Masters for a frozen pipe and water damage on our home.
We must respond in a few days 12.
? It states ( An appropriate written response requires compliance with rule 10(a)(1)
I looked it up and seems to be the way an atty. Should file in a certain format.
I am not an atty. So how do I respond is 1 question
    The real probleam is
    1. We received a check from Farmers Ins. Company made out to my wife and Chase Home Finance.
We sent the check to the Plainif and they could not cash it
We told them to put a lien on the home hopping this would work for them
And just found out that Chase cashed the check
Also found out that they have not paid our property tax for 2 years
So the insurance company didn't hold up
    And chase screwed us
    What to do
We just want the workers paid and we did give them the check
Thank you we are very stressed now and just lost the home

    Hello Larry:

    Ok, I found your question...

You DON'T want to fight this suit. You want to get the problem handled. Your problem is with Chase... They weren't out the money, but they took it...

I'd be down at their offices within an hour demanding the money be sent to where it was supposed to go... IF you get grief from the bank, and you might because Chase sucks bigtime, ask to see their LEGAL representative...

If that doesn't work, let us know and I'll tell you the next thing to do...

PS> I'd give the lawyer who's suing you a call to let him know what's going on... The problem here is LACK of communication. You've got to communicate with EVERYBODY now, and you've got to do it LOUDLY!

OK I only have a few days to respond to this and I don't know the legal format to use to respond to stop instant judgment
I also don't know how to reply to you back when I receive an answer
Fighting Chase is right and that will take some time
I need to show that we sent the check witch a copy is attached to the summons and they will see that we did not pocket the money and our intentions were good
PS look up farmersinsurancesucks.com there is a lot of bs about this company
    SOOOO supprised
    Thanks
