    PA/NY commuter tax help
    Hello
My husband and I are PA residents and in September he became employed by a NY state company and is commuting daily. The company he works for is only taking NY state and local taxes from his salary, as well as federal. I know I have to file tax forms with both states, but my question is What forms do I use? Is there any type of tax credit given between PA and NY? Do I need to pay estimated taxes through out the year based on my husband income?

Thank you for your time any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get the NY state forms from their website, or you can use state tax software.

PA will give you a credit (probably dollar-for-dollar) for the NY state taxes withheld, which means it is likeloy you will owe NO PA state income taxes.
