Roman Polanski fled before sentencing and was a fugitive for 32yrs. What additional charges can he face, under which law(s) and what is the maximum sentence for each of those charges?

    Hello HK:

Flight to avoid prosecution is a federal offense punishable by a fine and/or 5 years in jail. In practice, however, those charges are rarely adjudicated because the feds just hand the defendant over to the state after they catch him.

It's the only additional charge that I know of that can be levied against him.
