    iPod touch not turning on
Can anyone help with a iPod touch 8gb. It won't turn on even when plugged into the computer it's just black screen, in fact when I plug it in it does not even register that I have done so!

It is less than a year old so not too happy with this. Has anyone else had this problem.

    Thanks

    Hi there

Occam's razor - all things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the best one

Firstly, try a different computer, then a different cable.
If this doesn't work the iPod is defiantly faulty. Because it's still under a year old, get it to a apple dealer or contact apple to pickup the unit from you for free.
They will either repair or replace depending on witch option is the best.

Please let me know of this helped.

    Cheers

You might need a new battery, the book that comes with it said you would most likely have to change the battery after awhile
