    Look at this problem this way:

    Price of object + Tax = $126.50
    The price of the object is 100%, and the tax is 15%.

    So, 100% of the price, added with 15% of price give 126.50

    Let's use a variable p, for the original price of the camera.

    100%p + 15%p = 126.50

    Now, solve for p, and you're done! :)
