    What was the bullet's speed as it left the barrel?
    A rifle is aimed horizontally at a target 48.0 m away. The bullet hits the target 2.70 cm below the aim point.
    What was the bullet's flight time?

    Use to find the time of flight of your bullet.

    a is the acceleration due to gravity.

    With that time, you can find the horizontal velocity of the bullet since you know the time and the horizontal displacement.
