    Thermostat wire
    I had a carrier thermostat that went bad and I bought a hunter to replace it but I don't know how towire the new one need to know what wire is the rc wire and rh wire is

    The instructions that come with thermostats these days are very DIY friendly.

    Connect Rh to Rc and call this combination R. In most cases they are factory jumpered.

    How do we know this is not a split isolated system with two controls?
    What if she has both an RH and an RC wire? Then RH and RC must be on their own respective terminals.

    WE NEED DETAILS.
