    Haven't eaten since my fiancé left me
    I'm kind of worried about myself.

    My fiancé left me exactly a week ago today. During that whole time, I haven't even eaten the equivalent of a whole meal.
    I didn't eat anything at all for 3 days. Then I had 2 mouthfulls of rice. The next day, a few mouthfulls of ice cream, and just now, a raw carrot.
    I have had a problem with being underweight before, during an unhappy period in my life I lost a lot of weight and friends, family and teachers (I was in school at that point, Im not anymore, Im 23) were worried about my health.
    It got so bad at one point that I was forced to go see a councillor.

    Now, I feel its starting again. I feel physically sick when I try to eat, but most of the time, I just don't feel hungry at all.
    I know that this is a reaction to the break-up of my relationship, but I don't know how to break this cycle and start eating again. I don't want to be unhealthy.
    My friend hugged me last night and said that she could feel my bones and told me to eat!

    How do I change this?

    You need to find another outlet for your pain. Is there anyone you can talk to? Maybe a good friend or relative can bring over a small meal. You can eat and talk and vent about what's going on.

    I know its painful, but nothing is more important than your health.

    Maybe going back to the councillor might be in order.

    If this has been an issue in the past due to stressfull situations,you need to go back and relearn the coping tools.

    Your upset,and its normal to go one way or the other,comfort eat,or too upset to eat,however, as I said,if this has caused problems in the past, don't go past the point of rescue,nip it in the bud now!

    When I'm depressed, I usually eat a lot, go figure.

    Plsss get on milk, meal replacement drink in the interim as soon as possible, and face the option that you better start eating otherwise have to go get into a professionally supervised counseling situation.
