    Bad debts.
    You have some baddedts that have accumulated since 2003.the members agree they be written off.you have been charging them in the appropriation account,which entries do you make to scrap them off?

    Bad Debts should be written off more regularly,

    DEBIT Profit & Loss Account
    Credit Individual Accounts.

    Being Bad Debts written off.
