    Food poisoning
I thoroughly defrosted some chicken pieces in a plastic bowl in the kitchen. The room temperature I would say was warm/cold, kitchen cold you know with that icy breeze that comes in kitchens.
Anyway, the chicken had started to go from that frozen white colour to slightly brown. I cooked it, I fried it in oil in for about 40 minutes. They are big cuts of chicken pieces.
I put the rest in the fridge with loads of seasoning and covered it with a plastic bag in a plastic bowl.
It looked cooked, no pink bits at all etc but the next day I had slight stomach cramps and diarrhorea.

So what should I do with the rest. I would sy it has been out of the freezer coming up to 3 days.

Shall I oven roast or bin it?

    Thanks

I am always very cautious with chicken as we all should be.
I think your best bet is to trash it.

It was onder cooked. I cooked the rest for around three hours and it was fine.

I though it was chicken but it appeared to another tougher form of bird. Thatw as the problem.

I don't believe I have ever eaten such before. Very tough, red and large pieces. Thick chicken like skin and no drum stick legs or wings just mainly what looked like breast? I am looking to discover what on God's earth it was!
