This was a Sci-Fi TV movie or low budget feature film probably mid 90's.

It starts with an asteroid shower hitting a cargo vessel in space, the shower takes out the reserve air supply and the crew realise that there isn't enough air for all of them to make it back. They turn against each other, I remember three main crew members, two guys and a girl but there may have been more. One of the guys is the engineer and goes awol, he kills a dog belonging to the woman crew member because it was a waste of air and in turn the woman crew member kills herself by overdose. One of the crew finds a stasis/coffin pod in the cargo bay and realises he may know how to save the crew and gets them to start working together. The film ends with the crew limping back home with one of them in the stasis pod which conserves just enough air for everyone to make it back.

I watched this film late at night when I was younger and just though about it again after watching Pandorum because it wasn't half bad for a TV movie.
