With snowplowing you need a contract/quote - how many inches before you plow; what time or times the area is to be clear; do you salt/sand.

Have you worked out those details?

    Good points Judy.

Make sure that your quote covers all your cost; insurance, labor, taxes, supplies (gas, salt, sand, etc)

    Hi, RES0619!

You've already been given some details as to what you need to qualify as to why you might charge what you will.

I would like to add that, is this the only customer for whom you're going to be plowing and how big is the area that you'll be needing to plow, please?

Some places might just pay a blanket cost to cover themselves for plowing, salting, etc. for the season. Others might pay on an as-needed basis. If you want to insure that you get the work after the quote is accepted, then it's very necessary to have a written contract with the customer.

    Thanks!
