    How do I change my 8 month old baby's last name?
    My son's father was killed when I was 2 months pregnant & I didn't give my son his last name because I didn't know how his family would be towards him. Now I see that they do love him. I feel bad and want to change his last name to his daddy's, how can I do that?:confused:

    Is the father on the birth certificate? Was paternity ever established? Does the child receive SS benefits from his father's estate?

    The procedure can vary by State. Where are you?
