    1. Write the entire equation and balance it



    Instead of C, you could use anything that would burn, but that would complicate the equation.

    2. Figure out the molecular weight of CO2

    3. Figure out the molecular weight of O2

    4. Find out how many moles of CO2 there are in 88 grams.

    5. One mole of CO2 requires one mole of O2, so how many moles of O2 were used and what weight that is.
