    Correct word for my request?
    Hi,

I am trying to find the correct word for the examples below.

Example 1. John who is a carpenter pushed to the edge, wants to find out some information, so he poses as an FBI agent to get information from some underworld figures.

Example 2. Daniel who is in year 12 was out in a club but was beaten up by some drug dealers at a night club. Few weeks later he goes around to there house masked and dressed as a Hells Angel biker and demands they pay him some money in a certain time.

Example 3. Brian is in the Hells Angels, and poses as another biker gang to do damage to a different biker gangs club house and club leaders.

*Vigilante is what I have found but it doesn't cover the good and bad sides of my examples. If someone knows a words that covers this or point me in the direction of some examples.

    Cheers,

    Hi, invhost!

The correct word in what contexts, please?

Vigilante might work, but I would suggest looking for synonyms of that word.

Also, are these homework questions for you?

    Thanks!
