    Do you have any information on this artist and the value of his work?

    Below, is some information about the artist from the following site, Paul Emile Lecomte on artnet

    Paul Emile Lecomte Biography

    Paul Emile was the son of the artist Paul Lecompte 1842 - 1920. He studied with his father and with Cormont at the School of Fine Art in Paris. He was an official painter to the French Navy Ministry and he specialised in harbour scenes and seascapes.

    He exhibited at the Society of French Artists on a regular basis, having been elected to membership in 1902. At this Salon, he was awarded a gold medal.
