How to approach this guy at lan
Ok, before anyone laughs their butts off, this is a serious question.
I'm 20 and recently I've seen this girl I like at an internet café. Yes, like all would assume, it might be 'geek central' in your mind. But there arnt a lot of nerds because basically its just a place to chill out in my local area as pubs and bars are way too far.
So usually this place is filled with Asians playing PC games and etc but just recently there this Caucasian girl that comes here on a regular basis. She is usually here weekdays and she's only here to use myspace and msn and some other random stuff. I would like to approach her in some way without sounding awkward to her. The place is relatively small and usually there are always around 10 people on a quiet day. She usually sits at the front where majority of the lanners sit at the back.
Im not sure how old she is yet and that's been why I haven't approached her yet... and also because sometimes its packed.
What are some of the things I should say during approaching? My friend recommended to make up a myspace account to start a conversation and get her to add me. I don't think it's a good way though and I use Facebook. Any thoughts?

I would not suggest using myspace. That would just make it creepy if you did end up approaching her. You just have to be confident and go to her knowing what you want and what you are going to say. Just walk up to her and say hey, I couldn't help but notice you from across the room, my name is ____. What is yours? Anything like that will always help or just do something to get her attention then it should flow smoothly from there. If you want to know her age and you do use any myspace, try and find it there or ask her once you engage in conversation. Good luck!

I noticed you messed up. I wasn't sure if you was a girl at first wanting to approach a guy then a girl came into the picture. I figured it out easily enough though. I don't know if it can be changed or not though. Was anything I gave you useful?

Good to hear. Just have the confidence, and remember the worst that can happen is she says no. I wish you the best.

Don't freak her out by creating a myspace and then stalking her.
Have some confidence in yourself and just go up to her and introduce yourself. A simple, "Hi, how are you?" (and go from there) would suffice. You don't need to do anything extravagant.
You could easily ask her to go for a coffee to chill once you're done using the computers.
