Torture again - Nope, I ain't letting up!
    Hello:

I'm CERTAIN that today's Germany will NOT repeat their sins of the past. I'll bet you're certain too. I'm going to tell you WHY I'm certain in a few posts. Before I do, I'd like to hear why YOU'RE certain, if you are. If not, tell me why that is.

I'm not so certain of that at all . Angie Merkel is increasing aligning herself with Putin . That is earily reminisent of the Molotov-Ribbentrop agreement . Merkel and Putin even celebrated WWII together last month at Westerplatte, Poland where WW2 started . The irony was not lost on the Poles. Reinforced by the Obama betrayal of the Poles ;they were essentially told that they should not pin their destiny and independence on any long term commitment by the West.

I don't know, excon. The Neo-Nazi movement in Germany is stronger than ever, and continues to grow. There is still a fundamental "aryan pride" that continues to be a part of the German culture.

I'm not so sure that Germany won't make the mistakes of the past.

Or that France won't make the same mistakes... remember, Le Pen, the Neo-Nazi, got 20% of the popular vote a few years back. That means that 1 out of every 5 Frenchmen would support a Nazi as their national leader.

What makes you so sure that it couldn't happen again?

    Elliot

Hello: I guess if you say something long enough some people will believe it. I didn't think we were that dumb, though. You DO remember the Supreme Court Justice who said that he can't describe porn, but he knows it when he sees it. Well, I know torture when I see it, and we torture. I...
