Weed Eater LT 7000 Gas Tank\Fuel Lines
Hello I have a Weed Eater LT 7000 and I purchased a new primer bulb, Air filter, starter spring, fuel lines and main Crancase gasket.

I was drinking when took it apart and then by the time the parts came in, I thought I new how the fuel lines went, but it won't run without full choke. So I know I missed something.

The primer bulb has a suction inlet and the other blows air out when you press on the primer, also there are 2 inlets on the carb, 1 goes to the fuel filter, not sure I got this thing wired up right.

Anyway, I attached a photo, the line hooked to to the carb that is closest to the back of the weedeater like shown in my photo, I connected down into the tank and to the fuel filter.

If anyone who owns ones of these could enlighten me where I went wrong, that would be great, I have been messing with small engines for a long time, so I feel confident that it was the drinking that messed me up. :o

    Hi,
I think I would look for an air leak first.
There are two ways that the primer (actually purge) can work. It can pull or push mix through the carb. Most pull it through. The object in either case is to fill the metering side with liquid fuel.
That is the mindset to have when troubleshooting in theses situations.
    Peace,
    Clarke
