I need to write a thank you note to put in the paper. My father-in-law passed away 2 weeks ago, and although we have sent personal notes, we would like to make sure that we thank everyone.:confused:

If you check your local paper,there may be a death notice section,there are usually standard letters, you could use these as a template for your own letter.

Was there a funeral or memorial service? If so, where was it held, please? Also, was there a lunch or dinner of some kind and if so, what people were inolved in that?
