Transfer Title to Siblings After Parents Pass Away
My mother and older brother are in title to a property located in Allegheny County that was purchased in 1977. (They have both since passed away.) Mom passed away after my brother. Per my mother's last will and testament, she left the house to me and a younger brother. The problem is the estate was never probated AND per the county records title is still held in my mother and older brother's name. Since both of the original owners of the property are deceased how do I correct the title to show the house in the names of myself and my younger brother. We never recorded a quit claim deed. I live in Illinois, but my younger brother resides at the property located in Pittsburgh. Please advise the most efficient and accurate way to transfer title to myself and my younger sibling.

Probate the will, get an executor assigned, who can transfer the property.
