    Not hot water now in shower after I took
    Shower knob off to inspect why I have a faucet leak. I probably knocked something loose when inspecting it .need help:confused:

    OK let ill see if the name brand is on the shower knob, it's a Moen brand I'm trying to get my son to take a picture for me , it's a single knob that controls the hot and the cold water

    You are in luck, Moens are guaranteed for life and they have some great tutorials on line. These pics are for a Moen shower valve which could also be connected to a tub if needed. Try reviewing this Installation Help / Animated Tutorial - Installing the Moen 1224 Cartridge

    That was a nice tutoral but it didn't look like the one big shower knob I have in my shower. Is it still the same removal as a 3 knob shower

    Knobs look different but most Moen valves look pretty much the same once you get past the escutcheon plate. Picture, in the answer this question box look for Go Advanced, click it and then manage attachments. The pic can be downloaded from your computer.
