    Cursor will not move

    Did you accidentally push the little button on top of the trackpad? Is the light on at the top of the trackpad? Push it again, if it's off.

    Force shutdown by holding the power button until it shuts off. Then turn on and see what happens.

    Warning, any unsaved data will be lost via this method.
