I'm having the same problem! And my hairdresser told me to use a shampoo like head & shoulders or wash and go this will help get the black out!! Do this every day or twice a day for a couple of weeks and then go to your hairdresser and get her to do a strand test and see what colour it goes!

Good luck and let me know if you get any other advice

There's really no solution for black hair - I'm in the same boat and I'm patiently waiting for it too grow out enough where I can dye it again. You can try Head & Shoulders, but honestly, you either find the money to go get it bleached out - or you play the waiting game... You could try bleaching it yourself with a store-bought box, but it can inflict damage to your hair, causing breaking and splitting - plus, it NEVER comes out blonde from bleaching - it always turns reddish/orange (which can be dyed over)
    Good luck.

Rach24, dandruff Shampoos like Head & Shoulders won't remove permanent color from the hair, however, they will fade hair color slightly. Permanent color will not come out, it will gradually fade or grow out. In order to remove the color from the hair, you will need to use a hair color removal product or bleach (hydrogen peroxide). After the color has been stripped from the hair, you must re-color your hair, so that it will look natural.
