    Goodman furnace reversed 115 vac polarity
    I have a 3 yr old goodman furnace and went to turn it on for the first time this yr last night it turns on and runs for about 10 sec. and turns off it does not light. The troubleshoot light blinks continuously which on the sheet says reversed 115 vac polarity whatever that means. I hope its something minor if anyone can help it's appreciated thanks

    My error code was "Incorrect Line Voltage Phasing" (nine flashes, Carrier Aire-Flo furnace). It was fixed by properly securing the green ground wire that was near the circuit board to a screw on the furnace.

    Also on this brand new furnace the Black Line-In 120 volt wire and the Black with White Stripe Transformer wire were plugged into the circuit board in reversed order, fixed this problem as well.
