    Sick Beagle Puppy
    My 11 month old beagle woke up this morning not quite herself. She had wanted me to pick her up while we were outside but before I even touched her she was crying. She wouldn't eat nor would she get up on the couch by herself. I noticed on her lower stomach that she has a weird lump that looks red and irritated. She will let me touch it, but it seems more like her body is in pain. Sometimes when we touch her, or even if we aren't touching her she will start crying out in pain. She hasn't eaten anything all day and just wants to sleep. We plan on seeing how she is doing tomorrow and then taking her to the vet if she is worse. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

    Sick puppy equals instant vet visit. If she is having abdominal pain and there is something evident, then it could be she has swallowed something she should not have. It could be a number of things, but she is letting you know there is something seriously wrong if you can't touch her. I wouldn't wait.
