    Steam pipes
    , what pipe material(carbon, mild steel, stainless steel) is best to carry steam, cosidering corrossion as well as the state of the steam ( wet or dry steam ).

    Carbon steel is out; mild steel is next, and stainless steel is best.

    There are many types of stainless steel. There are many grades of mild steel. There are also many other corrosion-resistant materials.
