    Hi,
Many exist possibly; mostly need to know your crankshaft info. Keyway, diameter and length. Will not be tapered or stepped usually. Try:

For those specs, #693653 and match muffler, fuel pump, etc. requirements.

have a briggs and stratton power built model 28r707-1120 and I need a replacement . It is going on a 2003 murray 30" cut . as for the crank goes its 1"x3 5/32 with a 7/16-20 bolt. Wondering if model # 31G777-0559 would work. I know sears builds the same mower under their name and is the same mower , they have placed an elbow pipe on the muffler (since they vent on the other side of the motor now , where can I find the elbow to vent the muffler out on the original side , also thanks to who responded to the last message I put on here , I don't know how to reply to you as I am new here

    Hi,
Okay your original engine is 28 cu. in. your preferred replacement is 31 cu. in. and Briggs says the replacement is a 21B907 0026 which is a 21 cu. in.
One of the sites I gave a link to has the pictures of the mount flanges which are fairly standard and all three sizes should work.
Briggs & Stratton Small Engine Specifications
And pick by the engine size to view the engineering picture of the mount.
    Peace,

Thanks crigby but I was wondering if model 31g777-0559 would work since I found it to be cheaper than the 21b907-0026 although it has more hp it looks like it would work , just wondering and thanks a lot
