Honda Civic CEL Evap Monitor Not Ready Yet
I have a 2002 Honda Civic EX with 136k on it. Just before I went to have it inspected the check engine light came on. I hooked up my code reader and P1259 - vtec system malfunction popped up. The car runs smooth so I reset the codes yesterday and all the monitors are back to normal except for the EVAP monitor. I have driven the car about 35 miles in 4-5 trips since the reset.

How much longer should I have to wait until the EVAP monitor resets itself? BTW... my wife waited until the last minute to have the car inspected. I hope the monitor resets itself by tomorrow since tomorrow is the last day in September.
