    Pelvic Pain
Hey everyone! I am 28 years old and have been married to my husband for almost 9 years. We have 3 children together. After my last delivery, I got an IUD inserted for birth control. I have had it almost 2 years. The past six months or so I have been having some problems... pelvic pain, pain during and after sex, bleeding during or after sex, pain in the pelvic area when I "bear down" to go to the bathroom. I had my gall bladder removed about 3 months ago and they checked the position of the IUD then (before they knew it was my gall bladder they were doing different tests to figure out what was going on) and it was still in the right place. What could be causing all these symptoms? I have a Drs appt on Friday, but am anxious to find out possible causes! Thanks!

Sounds like the IUD is the problem. I'd get it removed and see what happens. I had one years ago and had a lot of problems and had to have it removed and then I was fine.
