    The General Journal is of the utmost importance.
    It is the record of the HISTORY of what happens in an Organisation.
    It records the entries , with the date and the
    Narration records the full circumstances of the entry.
    You can actually make the General Journal
    Suffice to incorporate all the entries of any one accounting annual period.
