Eviciting a roommate - I am the owner
    Hello
    Here is the deal

I dated someone for the last two years and there is no formal agreement with us. We are now broken up. I bought the house we live in in march of this year.

Currently he owes me 1700 in back rent and is not consistent with his rent payments. I have a detailed report of the last two years that he has never been current with rent. I live in Arizona. I really would like to evict him and have him leave. I want to make sure I am not breaking any rules so what advice can you give me.

You have to give him a 5 day notice to evict and it must state that he is behind $1700. In back rent. If he still does not leave you have to go to court and have him evicted by the court process.
