I don't know what to say to my auntie after 15 years
Hey people, please can you help me, as I'm a little stuck. My dad left me when I was one year old, and his side of the family haven't been in contact for the past 15 years. I am now 16yrs old, and am in touch with my auntie from my dads side, she is only 8 yrs older than me and we have already struck up a good relationship. However, after only a couple of texts, our conversations dwindle out and I never know what to say to save them. Also, I am supposed to be meeting her soon for the first time and I'm nervous as it is. Please can somebody help me in talking to her both face to face and also over the phone as I'm really worried ill ruin our relationship. Thanks :D

No you won't ruin your relationship!
Tell her that your nervous- I bet she is nervous too!
You can't really jot down what your going to say and look at the notepad later. Let the conversation flow naturally.
There will be awkward moments but just laugh it off.
You'll be okay ;)
I'm happy to hear of such a gathering, good luck!

Relax. Just be yourself. I'm sure as you get to know her the conversation will start to flow more naturally. You can talk to her about things going on in school, or in your personal life. And just pay attention to what she's saying. If she's not saying much, ask questions. Maybe you guys have a hobby you can do together. Maybe it'll turn out you both like the same book author or same favorite band or something.

Oh hon calm down. Your just nervous. Explain that to her.
When you talk a lot for a short period, you start to run out of things to talk about that's all. I'm sure everything will be fine when you meet.

Talk about your interests, and ask about hers.
Talk about your school, your classes, your favorite sports.
Ask about her favorite places, foods, memories.
Ask about her first love, kiss, dog. Tell her yours.
Ask about your relatives, including your father.
Tell her about the last book you've read, ask about hers.
Sometimes we worry about things that we shouldn't. That's human nature. But love has no last question or last answer. It's funny that way.
Most importantly, just be yourself. That is unless your shy, in that case, be someone else. Just kidding. Good luck to you. And enjoy the time you spend with your family. Always.
