    Unlawful parking?
Hi, I live in my own house in a cul de sac on a resdential sight of 11 houses. We have a turning circle at the end of the road and, the deeds to all out properties tell us that parking in this turning circle is not allowed. We have a new neighbour who ignores the order and parks not one but two vehicles in the turning circle. It is causing all sorts of problems for delivery vehicles. There are no intructions in writing or yellow lines on the road. Please are these notices upon our deeds just a Toothless tiger?

Are the orders on our deeds relative to parking legal, if so under what legislation, and are they inforceable please?

Unfortunately as the council's highways department have failed to sign and line the area correctly you are pretty much stuffed.

You could try asking the council about the covenant in the deeds and see what they say, but don't hold your breath with this.
