    Cadillac trunk won't close
    The motor at the bottom part of my 1988 fleetwood stays hot and the latch won't seem to grab the trunk and close it.

    Try replacing the pull down switch. Very common.
    You may need to check what kind of screws are used. Some may be torx.
    Be careful. The plastic stuff will be brittle.
